Bernice M. Heinz age 88 of Melrose Park, passed away on November 17, 2019. Beloved wife of the late David. Loving mother of Randall (Lynn), Leslie, Keith and the late David. Dearest grandmother of Erin and Eric. Bernice was born to John and Mary nee Ambrose Barauskas at the family home 35th Ave. She was welcomed by her older sister Minnie and followed by her twin brother Vincent. Bernice grew up in a close knit Lithuanian Catholic family. Bernice belonged to St. John Vianney Church in Northlake until the 1960's, after that St. Charles Borromeo became her home parish. Bernice married David Heinz on September 18, 1954 in Melrose Park, he preceded her in death in 2017. She enjoyed estate and yard sales, smooth jazz, big bands, Celine Dion, the color green, black hills gold, tulips, garden roses, peony plants and loved trying new foods, but most of all Bernice enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
